e-KnoT Technology Road Show – Precise Agriculture

The e-KnoT project provide several initiatives and events which are dedicated to representatives of Education, Research and Business for strengthen theirs cooperation. One of them is dedicated event: Technology Road Shows - Precise Agriculture, the event dedicated for stimulating the process of creation of cooperation between groups dealing in agriculture domain and using the GNSS technology in this domain.

A well-functioning innovation and technology transfer process has to be initiated in order to enable a dynamic and creative GNSS product, service and application development.

Also companies from agriculture domain have to tap into the knowledge developed by universities and research institutes.

  • What are the new technologies developed within research institutes and universities in precise agriculture domain?
  • Where do they derive from and how could they be included in productivity aspects of agriculture ?

The Technology Road Show – Precise Agriculture aims at answering these questions and it initiates a knowledge transfer by providing research results on agriculture topics to representatives of Farmers, Agriculture Clusters and Companies (with a special focus on SMEs).

Planned on 9 June in Bucharest TRS event will gather representatives of:

  • Business - manufacturers of agricultural machinery, equipment suppliers for farm navigation, etc.
  • Education - Professors, PhD's students working in agriculture domain
  • Research (professionals) - highly qualified specialists in design of GNSS based solutions from European research centres)
  • Farmers (representatives of producer groups, clusters) which are using / or they want to use in the future GNSS solutions in their work.

e-KnoT Technology Road Show – objectives

Technology Road Show events are dedicated for stimulating the process of creation of cooperation between all groups of potential GNSS users and it initiates a knowledge transfer by providing research results on dedicated topics to companies.

The objective of the e‐KnoT Technology Road Shows is to enable a dynamic and creative GNSS product, service and application development, raising awareness and supporting capacity building by providing deep insights in new research results and their potential for business. Facilitate networking between companies, in particular SMEs, and research institutes as well as universities. To support the innovative capabilities of companies, the patenting seminars will be organised as well, meeting the needs of companies and SMEs.

In the past have already been held the three similar events dedicated to themes of: Maritime (Gdańsk, Poland), Space (Toulouse, France), Aviation (Berlin, Germany).
